Nightlife and Lounge
With majestic and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, the OMNIA Dayclub and Sake No Hana restaurant are located on the southwestern tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali. These two new venues from Hakkasan Group bring a social experience to a remote setting at The Cliff, an exclusive collection of suites at Alila Villas Uluwatu.
To set the scene for both the Dayclub and the restaurant, we choreographed an anticipatory, unfolding journey from the resort’s arrival courtyard through to the reveal of the dramatic cliffside.
Sake No Hana has a simple Japanese aesthetic, with a grand, bleacher-like staircase that faces the ocean in a nod to the region’s distinctive terraced rice paddy fields.
The restaurant appears to float above the Dayclub as an open-air cube.
A custom resin and wood chandelier fabricated by a local artisan hangs above the grand staircase.
Stone and wood screen walls give the restaurant an indoor-outdoor feel and keep the sea air flowing.
